This version has many more photos and updated information. I would recommend this Howard Garrett's Plants for the Metroplex to anyone, especially a "transplanted" resident to this part of Texas. Review #2 Excellent! This is a wonderful gardening guide for the DFW area. I highly recommend it. The ideas are aplenty and next to none should fail you. I love it. Review #3 Good and concise A great book in an easy to read format, good for quick reference and deeper study. Great pictures and info on locating local specimens to see how the plants look in a real setting.
