I am very pleased with this calender. Besides the vast array of stitches that I hadn't seen in other publications, there are helpful instructions explaining how to make them. I also like that the number of stitches per pattern repeat plus the extras needed to complete the set, are given. The colorful pictures are large enough to give the knitter a good idea of how a finished piece will look. The stitch patterns range from very easy for the beginner to the more complicated for the experienced knitter. I bought one for myself and another as a Christmas gift.

This is a great little resource that is portable, takes up no space, and has really good information. I've been knitting for 50 years, and this is perfect. I can even remember the dates of my favorites!
