I Love this book. Used the libraries copy many times to look things up. Now that I finally own it I can use it any time. Love , Love, Love it. Contains great information regarding organic gardening.

this is a big book but the info is as basic as it gets common sence will give you all the knowledge this book has to offer worth $5.00 with shipping. pay any more and it's a rip off
WOW! Great general reference.
For me this is a great general reference book and usually the first one I go to when I have a gardening related question. It has helped me identify common pests and learn to treat them all without yucky pesticides. This has been especially helpful to me since I moved across the country and from USDA zone 9 to zone 4 - the problems and issues are VERY different.
My 10 year old son has also taken an interest in gardening and he will also often get this out so we can get some general info about a specific plant or problem.
