Boring, outdated, learned nothing. Most information in this book you learn in elementary school. A bit harsh, yes but it should be re-written and updated. Recommed to shop elsewhere.
Substantial, but out-of-date
If you are looking for clear explanations of basic electrical principles, Mr. Kaiser does an excellent job of using mathmatical formulas to explain them. His examinations of ac theory are clear, concise, and written at apprenctice-level. The writing style is certainly dry.Motor control occupies a very short section at the end of this book, and it is badly out of date. Look elsewhere if you are interested in recent technological advances.

This book is really helpful for Electronics Engineering students... who need to add some extra knowledge to be able to function as Electrical Students....excellent self study book
